CALIFORNIA ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER & CALIFORNIA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
CALIFORNIA ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
I’ll be honest, I absolutely love elopements. They always feel so much more special and intimate than huge weddings with hundreds of people involved. And knowing that I am often the only “outsider” allowed to witness and document such a special moment in two people’s lives makes fills me with joy. California is full of great locations that are a fantastic backdrop for an elopement; whether you’re planning a beach elopement, a magical forest elopement, a desert elopement, you can find some amazing spots scattered across the state. If you’re looking for an elopement photographer get in touch! We can chat more about what you’re looking for, and I can help you choose a great location for your California elopement.`
MOUNTAIN ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
California is full of options for people looking to elope on top of a mountain. Picture it: you, your loved one, the breeze in your hair and the crisp smell of mountain air as you overlook the incredible landscape below you. As if this day wasn’t going to be memorable enough! While Yosemite National Park may be the obvious answer for people looking to elope on top of a mountain, there are many other options as well. Even Mount Baldy in Los Angeles can offer some amazing backdrop, as can Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead, and Sequoia National Park.
ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
Love is an adventure in of itself, so why not celebrate it by embracing your adventurous side? Adventure elopements ditch the overly planned in favor of a “let’s just do it” attitude. After all, you only need the two of you and someone to perform the ceremony when you elope, which makes it much easier to go crazy when it comes to choosing a location. You could stand on top of a sand dune in the desert, in front of a waterfall, or nearly anywhere else you could think of.
DESERT ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
It is no secret that a large part of California can be easily described as a desert. Spend a whole summer down here without AC in your car and you’ll know what I’m talking about. There are dozens of great locations for people looking for a desert elopement. The first and most obvious one is Joshua Tree. It’s easy to access, and with its countless different rock formations it can make for a seriously epic backdrop. Other options include Vasquez Rocks (which has been and still is the background for a ton of movies and TV shows), Palm Springs, Death Valley, Salton Sea, Red Rock Canyon, and Algodones Dunes among others. There are also many simple but beautiful wedding venues that will let you experience the beauty of the desert with just a little more luxury. These include The Desert Lily, Rimrock Ranch, and The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens. Just make sure to bring sunscreen and you’ll be fine. =
CALIFORNIA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
There are so many reasons why California is a great place to get married. First of all, you can get married around here all year round without really having to worry about rain and cold weather impacting your day. Secondly, it has more locations you could ever think of to provide a backdrop for your wedding day. Whether you’re looking for a cabin in the woods, a desert town, a snowy mountaintop, an old spanish villa, a repurposed warehouse, or simply a beautiful beach at sunset, you will find that in California. There are many natural locations, and just as many wedding venues ready to welcome their next love story. If you’re looking for a California wedding photographer don’t hesitate to say hi, I’d be thrilled to capture your beautiful day in this amazing looking state.
ADVENTURE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Many couples are skipping the fancy city venues in favor of more basic, but far more spectacularly placed locations for their wedding. If you have an adventurous side, love camping, hiking, or simply just being out in nature, imagine how much more memorable it would be to get married in the back of a cabin in the middle of Yosemite National Park, or under the starry desert sky in Palm Springs. Get in touch and I’d be happy to give you some pointers on choosing the right venue for you!
LGBTQ SAME-SEX CALIFORNIA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
I don’t discriminate, if you’re in love and want me to document your wedding or elopement I will be there for you regardless of age, sexual orientation, race, etc.
YOSEMITE ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
Yosemite National Park may be one of the best and most majestic locations in California for couples looking to elope. There is a flat fee of $150 for elopements and ceremonies in the park, and more beautiful backdrops to choose than you will ever need (note: if you plan on having more than 10 people your choice will be limited to Yosemite National Park’s list of ceremony locations). Just rent a secluded cabin to get ready and unwind at the end of the day, then make your way to one of the dozens amazing spots in the park for your ceremony. Some of them include Glacier Point, Tunnel View (although it’s often packed with tourists), Lower Valley, Bridal Veil Falls, Cathedral Beach, Merced River, Swinging Bridge, Lower Yosemite Falls, Sentinel Meadow, El Capitan Meadow, and so many other little spots that you can only find while exploring the park. No matter where you decide to elope in Yosemite though, it will be one of the most memorable experiences of your life.
YOSEMITE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Yosemite National Park offers a nearly unlimited number of locations for people looking to elope, but there are also many actual wedding venues for people who are looking for more full fledged wedding set ups but don’t want to sacrifice the natural beauty of the area. Some of these venues include The Pines Resort, The Mill, Camp High Sierra, Forest Chapel, Evergreen Lodge, Convict Lake Resort and The Redwoods in Yosemite.
BIG BEAR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
If you live around Los Angeles or Orange County but want to escape the city for your wedding, Big Bear may be a great choice for you, especially if you don’t want to drive or fly all the way up to Yosemite or Lake Tahoe. Big Bear is less than 2 hours away from the cities, and offers gorgeous environments. If you need a Big Bear wedding photographer get in touch and let's chat about what you have planned!
